We Support Clean Water Initiatives
Empowering Global Communities through Safe Water Solutions
At Ninestone, we’re more than a marketing and sales firm; we’re advocates for global health and well-being. We stand by the conviction that access to clean and safe water isn’t just a necessity—it’s a fundamental human right. Through our partnership with Water Mission, a globally recognized non-profit dedicated to clean water and sanitation efforts, we’re making strides in regions that need it most, starting with Peru.
Water for Hope in Peru
In the heart of Peru’s Amazon, families like that of Zoila Vásquez Curichiwa dream of a future where clean water is within reach. “Access to purified water means our families can avoid preventable diseases,” Zoila shares, reflecting a common sentiment among her community. Despite the Amazon River’s vastness, the water remains unsafe due to pollution and contamination, severely impacting daily life and health.
The Stark Reality
The statistics are staggering, yet they underscore the urgency of our mission.
Over 2.2 billion people globally lack access to safe water
Nearly 4.4 billion people live without proper sanitation
Three billion people are without essential handwashing facilities at home
Ninestone is championing initiatives to counteract these challenges.
Transforming Lives in Rural Amazon
Recent studies highlight that 80% of Amazon’s rural population lacks access to clean water, with a significant portion living without basic sanitation. Water Mission’s targeted efforts aim to reverse these trends, delivering sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions to the most affected areas.
Addressing Environmental Challenges
The Amazon faces unique environmental challenges, from uneven rainfall distribution to extreme weather patterns like El Niño and La Niña, exacerbating water scarcity and stress. Water Mission’s holistic approach is tailored to these complexities, ensuring communities can withstand and thrive despite these adversities.
Peru: A Commitment to Safe Water
Water Mission’s long-standing dedication to the water crisis is evident in its impactful work across 56 countries, including Peru. With over two decades of experience, their collective efforts have provided safe water to millions, guided by principles of love, excellence, and integrity.
